This is the web site of the New Jersey High School Poetry Contest sponsored by Rutgers University - Campus at Newark and the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation.  This site provides information about this year's contest as well as contests from previous years.  In addition, this site will provide various types of information of interest to poets - including links to web sites, journals, publishers, performances, contests, writing programs, etc.  Click on an item in the contents bar to the left to view that page.  The site is in the process of being updated and upgraded, so please be patient and check back frequently to view recently added material.

The winners for last year's contest have been posted to this site. Click on the "2003 Contest Winners" in the menu bar to find out who won. The judges for this year's contest are Barry Seiler, Patricia Bender, and Paul Rosetti.  The deadline for the 2004 contest is March 7. Further information about the 2004 Contest  will be posted to this web site as it becomes available.  Also, look here for any updates or further information about the contest.
