Short Biography

Wenjun Zhou is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Management Science and Information Systems at Rutgers Business School. She received her B.S. degree in Information Management and Information System from the University of Science and Technology of China - Hefei, China and a M.S. degree in Biostatistics at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. She began her PhD study at Rutgers Business School in September 2006. Her research interests include data mining, statistical computing, and their applications in business and management science. Her PhD advisor is Prof. Hui Xiong. During her PhD study, Wenjun Zhou has published in referred journals and conference proceedings, such as INFORMS Journal on Computing (JOC), ACM SIGKDD International Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (KDD), IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM), ACM SIGIR International Conference on Research and Development in Information Retrieval (SIGIR) and IEEE International Conference on Tools with Artificial Intelligence (ICTAI). She is a receipt of the KDD 2008 Student Travel Award and the KDD 2008 Best Student Paper Runner-Up Award.
